5 Ways to Slim a Sandwich
- Opt for 35 calorie bread instead of a large bun or hoagie
- Choose lower calorie condiments, for example mustard or hummus vs. mayo
- Make a veggie style sandwich loaded with veggies vs. including meat
- Select 2-3 ounces of lean meat vs. using nut butters (peanut butter, hazelnut butter, etc)
- Switch regular cheese to low-fat cheese or 1 tbsp of fat free cream cheese
